Riding from El Paso, Texas to Springerville, Arizona and back with the El Paso HOG Chapter. Part of the Outdooraholic's Harley Owner's Group Ride Series.
Outdooraholic’s ride with the El Paso Harley Owner’s Group (HOG) Chapter to Springerville, AZ. We rode though the Gila and Apache National Forests, along US Highways 180 and 191. We had 13 motorcycles and 18 people, 12 Harley-Davidsons and 1 BMW. The weather started out great, sunny in hot on the first half of day one, and overcast with a few light sprinkles in the afternoon. On day two it started out cool with beautiful blue skies but quickly deteriorated once we stopped for lunch in Silver City, New Mexico. From Silver City to El Paso we went though lots of rain, thunderstorms, windstorms, sandstorms, and a hailstorm. You will see some pretty dramatic footage from the storms we encountered but we had a great group of riders and we kept our spirits up and had a great adventure! For more info on upcoming rides in the West Texas and Southern New Mexico area, check out El Paso HOG Chapter on Facebook or visit their website: www.elpasohog.com/
This ride was done on my 2009 Harley Davidson Road King with Tab Performance Zombie Baffles, S&S 551 Cams, Burley Bar 14" Gorilla Apes, Arlen Ness Big Sucker Intake, Vance and Hines FP3, 5" stretched saddlebags and rear fender, and a Vector Fairings quick-release batwing.
All of the video was filmed with an Insta360 One X2 Camera and edited with Insta360 Studio and iMovie. In studio audio was captured with a Blue Yeti microphone.
