Back when I was running the 5w we pulled the trailer with a 1 ton box truck and a trailer on loan from Hench. It was late getting home and we had some beer, {imagine that} and we started washing the car at the shop. Dad stuck around to help out and ended up falling out of the truck and wrecking his ankle. I'm pretty sure that was his last time with that. Next day I got an ass reaming for leaving a ton of mud in front of the shop door. He was still in pain so I didn't argue about it and cleaned it up. Still to this day he has suffered with the ankle issue as well as a blown eardrum from me whacking the pedal while he was next to the car. I'm quite impressed with your handling of that pump sprayer. Has Chris Frank seen you do that? You attacked the car like it was a bad case of roach infestation. The power washer wand between the legs reminded me of Ace Frehley during a Kiss concert. Seriously though, the new products available that you showcased here are far superior to what we all used in the past. The injector covers being one of them. We used those plastic discs that HELD water. We used duct tape to seal up the crossover tube and removed the breather filters. My 410 Gaerte engines cost $30k in the day and we thought we were being careful!

Another great video Billy. When I had my late model years ago a buddy of mine bought all new braided lines and anodized fittings. I was so proud of all my pretty plumbing. Well we ran Potomac,Budds Creek on Fridays now and then. They had a dirt surface that they put oil or something on. Car would be a mess. Took car to my dads shop used steam cleaner with the soap they had to get car spotless. It turned all my anodized fitting a chalky white. They lasted 3 weeks 😞 what a bummer. You all take care and stay safe. Keep the videos coming it’s a long cold winter till opening day.

Your channel is fantastic. Lots of great footage, commentary, laughs, and yes some disappointments. Pertaining to the car wash, before you remove the air cleaner I would suggest wiping down the chassis down tubes to remove any possible hardened dirt clumps (big or small) to prevent the possibility of accidentally knocking something into the stacks. Just something quick and simple. Good idea or no?
