Sprosten Green is absolutely epic! Saw the show in Vancouver, wanted to re-live that performance, and came across your Toronto recording. Your filming from that show is outstanding. Brought a huge smile to my face, made even bigger watching buddy lose himself in the moment, side stage. Nicely done documenting a special moment. Thank you!

The roadie is pure joy! He should definitely try and roadie for James as his style is the same as the other Tim... Booth.

There is something very Booth-like about him, isn't there? "Pure joy" is correct!

now this song and band I could listen to ad infinitum 😊 none of that super jaded hipster look at me I'm in BJM and all that a top notch group that a lot of people don't know of 😮

I grew up with The Charlatans and I agree, they're awesome and this was one of the best performances I've seen this year. Comparing them to BJM is kinda weird if you ask me, but if I was forced to choose....personally it's BJM for me. Criticizing a band just because they aren't doing what you personally enjoy is an odd life choice but hey....you do you.

@@thevinylvagabond don't get me wrong I had the pleasure of seeing BJM 2 times around 1999 and it/they were a completely different animal and I do mean animal too many drugs , booze , in fighting , you name it but for me those 5 or 6 people killed it when they all "found the groove" Jeffrey , Matt , Dean , Glaze , Joel , and A A Newcombe , even Mara (?) made amazing sounds for me now to see Joel look like he's going to fall asleep and Anton reading lyrics off a binder says IMHO that a dead horse is being flogged anyway you cannot beat 97- 00 BJM and oh yeah Charlatans would be a dream come true concert for me !👍✌️

@@michaellorenzen8200 ah OK gotcha ✌️That's totally fair and I would've loved to see them in their heyday. I apologize if my original response was a little crusty. As you can imagine, I've been fielding a fair amount of BJM bashing on here, and while I get why it's happening, they remain one of my favourite bands so it gets tiresome. But yah, everything you say is valid and The Charlatans are the complete opposite to BJM live. Crowd pleasers at the top of their game who put on the type of show everyone can enjoy 🔥🔥🔥

@@thevinylvagabond I 100% have the same opinion I vividly remember the 1st time I heard Methadrone it blew me away thinking this is like a missing link of EVERYTHING lol and started to gobble up all of the following albums my favorites probably being Take it ... , or Strung out ... (the era when I saw them small club Larimer Lounge in Denver maybe 2-300 MAX) and still even today listen quite regularly I think Pish is brilliant and I truly think Anton Newcombe has carved out his own unique niche and hopefully will be listened to into the future thanks for the responses it is always nice to know that there are others out there in this big old world that enjoy similar things/sounds take care and believe you me I'm cueing up another of your videos 🤓
