Wish I would have found this before I replaced my springs. Would have saved me time and money because I didn't realize the drinker's side was a different u-bolt setup in the front. Nice Work.

In 2007 or 2008 my dads cousin had that exact truck it was the DPW truck it was parked for years he bought it for 2000$ I tried like hell to buy it but he traded it for part of buying a little cabin but that lift and the tires made your truck look tuff nice job

That’s how I did it on the two 1/2 tons I did previously. I couldn’t get the new u bolts into the bottom plate without pulling the other side (on the 1 ton). I am not the most patient back yard project guy. Thanks

My dad in 79 bought a bright yellow gmc 3 quarter ton full time 4x4 in 98 I restored it for him when I went to collision school he aways loved that truck we lost him in 06 to cancer now me and my boy get it out and drive it making more memories and then he'll get it love the yellow

There is something special about an old truck. Cabin trips, hardware stores, dump runs etc, etc. getting stuff done and making memories. My dad is now in his 80’s and it makes me sad to think of my passenger seat empty. Take care

I got the same superlift 4" lift springs i grinded the spring pin to fit hole. My issue is the sway bar. Do you know what bushings it uses ive bought couple sets and there not the right ones. I hope you can help thanks

I didn’t replace the rubber bushings. Just loosened the bolts so it would pivot. Good luck

I’m redoing a 76 and I noticed it looks like it has a raised steering arm. It is all over the road and I heard that those raised arms are to blame. Considering going back to stock arm but it has a 4” lift. Still no problems with yours?

It will be a little harsher but nothing major. The three-quarter ton and 1 tons are super harsh to begin with. Good luck and take care

I sold a 1970 Ford crew cab short bed 4 x 4 about three years ago. I didn’t appreciate it back then but now I do. So until I am old and don’t want to fix the square body I will be keeping it. Take care👍

I would at least do a drop down bracket. You will need to disconnect the lines either way. I replaced my lines, they needed replacement anyway. Good luck

It’s a 1998 cr500, There’s a couple videos on my channel of me goofing around at our cabin. Long story short my wife and I divorced and I panicked and sold the bike. This was just before the prices skyrocketed! Sore subject!

9.00x16 super lug. They are a bias ply 36 inch tall by nine wide. I have no issues with the bias ply. They do develop flat spots if parts for any length of time(month)in the cold. takes a few miles to smooth out and warm up. Handle just like a radial other than that.

Those are super lug 9.00 x 16. 36 x 9 x 16 And those are bias ply which I have had zero handling issues with. Don’t remember who I was yelling at!

Good to know. I’m wanting to do a 2 1/2 in lift on mine,( pulling goosenecks) and don’t want too soft of a spring. My springs are worn out bad and after doing several lifts on squares I’m torn on which spring to use and still be able to handle well towing.

Lee McCafferty I would of still had plenty of room for the 36’s with 2 1/2 and you really don’t have to worry about steering arm, brake lines(maybe), sway bar. Good luck

Nicholas Roeder they get flat spots if they sit for more than a week. Takes a few miles to even out. Doesn’t bother me and they handle just like any other tire. Tire life should be good, the rubber is on the hard side.
