We had squatters at one of our rental houses and couldn't get them out. My wife and I put up live feed cameras and as soon as they left the house we took the front end loader and dump truck and about 10 friends over there. We pulled all their stuff out of the house, crushed everything, loaded it into the dump truck and changed the locks, and dumped all their trash at the mother of the couples house. They tried to take us to court and the judge forced them to pay for the cost of moving everything and rental fees for the time they squatted in the house. Edit: after having another squatter incident with another house we bought I had to get the police involved to remove them and the on duty supervisor was there along with the chief of police and they both told me that I could have walked into the house with a gun shot once into the floor then shot the squatters and it would have been considered a self defense case because we were actually living in the house, had gone on vacation and came back to them living in our house. Gonna have to remember that for the next time it happens

People don't realize they could actually do that. All those trashed houses all over the nation where the owners just ignore the property, if people moved in, took care of it and paid the taxes, after awhile if the owners don't come back, they can claim it as squatters. This is the reason why you can’t just give homeless people a house to solve homelessness. The problems that cause it are so much more complex than just lack of money or property. The law firm gets a huge percentage of the fine. And if try to sue them, they have teams of lawyers to fight you. This comes down to one thing, the parents did not raise their children right. Parents aren't making their kids get jobs at 16 so that they can learn to work and make their own money and safe up to BUY a house. All the people want "to live free" and don't care if it's wrong. You have to teach your children how to be responsible adults. Hoping they'll "learn by watching you" does not always work. A lot of people are lazy and have to be forced to get a job and hold a job.

It's a mortal shame that they can destroy a property like that with no consequences. But the truth is that once they leave, they usually leave the house with almost more damages than the house is worth.

And this is one of many issues with LLCs from other states buying large portions or land. More often than now LLCs that own properties are based out of places like Chicago, LA, NYC, etc. They only hold the land as an investment and don't care.

I didn't expect you - but I feel really sad watching these young people sent back to the streets... I really didn't expect it. We need to stop putting idiots in our local city and town councils that make housing regulations so ridiculous. We need to take power back from the legal system - lawyers/liars/leeches. They have a hand in absolutely everything... From the air you breathe, the floor you walk on - they're involved in the lease you sign, you can't make a move without a lawyer anymore... Whether you're a tenant or landlord. They've driven up the cost of healthcare, education, Auto insurance, The only industry where you can go to college for 7 years, put out a shingle and start charging people $200 on up per hour for advice... They sell access to Justice - and they're in demand whether the economy is good or bad they always win They don't teach a kid to read, find a cure for cancer, defend their country with their lives, do brain surgery... They're useless leeches...the original snake oil salesman carpetbaggers that went South and began following circuit judges to represent illiterate people in court they do nothing but produce pieces of paper

My friend once had 2 squatters in her home after she took a 3 week vacation in Brazil. These squatters were a couple. The boyfriend was very mean. And even shoved my friend. She went to the police 🚔, but they did nothing. So she stayed with her mother. She told me in tears about the situation. So i called 3 of my buddies. And that night we went to her house with 4 aluminum baseball bats. Heads got busted and bones were broken. The house was a little bit of a bloody mess, but it was super well worth it. We pitched in and helped her clean up the mess. Now she's happily back in her home at peace.

@TheFoolintherainn

It's the ridiculous code enforcement, regulations, ever increasing taxes that make housing prohibitive... Homeless shelters simply encourage it, create liberal jobs. And all these problems go on because of your local politics... nobody knows who's on their school board which drives your property taxes up, town council, State legislature, your local district attorney, circuit judges... everybody thinks we're socialist already - they're always looking to the federal government tit while we have 50 stars on our flag for good reason. Nobody pays attention to midterm elections.That's when the majority of the crap goes through People can't even live off grid with an outhouse anymore - but they can live in a city with millions of people, packed in like sardines, sucking up the stench of their own vermin and every bacteria, viral strain out there... with their own feces running through leaky pipes under their feet and over their heads. Billions of gallons of waste dumped into our rivers and oceans concentrated at levels that kill the environment instead of spreading it out in smaller quantities so mother nature can absorb it more easily Everybody wants a piece of the action -every politician wants some Bill or legislation in their name. it's code enforcement, regulations. that's why the economy got moving so quickly under the Trump administration - repealing all the ridiculous and frivolous regulations. That wouldn't be the federal government driving up the cost of housing unless it was subsidized housing Banks need to have their inspections also if you want a mortgage But housing should be run by locals communities know what's going on where. If there's a sign of racism or stuff like that - then they go to the state level for resolution, and then to the federal level - but the responsibility starts in their own front yards. California is a great example of the code enforcement being prohibitive to any sort of housing hyphen who voted for Nancy pelosi? And why do they keep voting her in? Because California is going to be the problem of all taxpayers... that's not fair - and somebody needs to leash the law suit happy lawyers.
