Useful info. Years ago we used to fish under the lights near the condor the small fish congregate under them then just dangled the jig under the light. We would regularly get 3lb to 6lb squid there in the winter. Brought one up there over two & a half feet long there are some monsters lurking in the harbour.

Great video guys I've always wanted to catch squid but in the 45 years I've been fishing I never have got one. You guys are so lucky to be living so close to a great beach, I have to travel an hour and a half and its a sand surf beach with no rocks, really boring.

Go somewhere where the beach is steeper and where the squid would pass through

The good thing about his setup is that when it hits the floor and bounces up and down it’s less likely to get snagged

All that gadgets that you add in front of jig are mess up the jig movenment. So its not recommended to use it.
