@@SquidTips similar to what acozyone says. The name kind of implies a negative (envy not always being considered a good thing), but by and large trans people use it as a term of endearment towards the person in question. They have many of the specific traits, either physical, social, emotional, etc etc. that they personally view as their ideal for themselves. This sometimes confuses the average cis person because they sometimes don't feel they fit that bill and might look to some big celebrity like Robert Downey Jr and question why you're not envious of them instead. I mean some trans guys probably are with Robert, don't get me wrong, but at least for myself I tend to look towards men such as yourself for my masculine ideal. Also some people tend to misunderstand and think I'm coming onto them because I'm basically complimenting their physique lol While I am actually bipan, it's not often a sexual desirability sort of thing. I have no personal interest in being WITH someone who looks like yourself, I just really want to look and present as someone such as yourself. And the confidence you have to not only be yourself but be outspoken as an lgbtq+ supporter also aids to that envy.

Oh, friemd, you are an accomplice, more than an ally. When you stand with and willing to be on the frontlines with unwavering support, you are an accomplice! Like me, you are clearly and accomplice to black, queer, trans and just good people, period. You stand on the correct side of history and are using your voice to educate and bring people together instead of pushing us apart. You get it, you see what many of us see, that love will always win. It may lose some battles, but it will always give hope and bring like minds together. We are always stronger together and thats why the red hats and haters are scared of and try to supress us and what we stand for. They are literally afraid of empathy, and afraid of those that look like us (melanin deficient, cisgendered males (for all intents and purposes) who dont fit into or buy into their bigoted bullshite. Im incredibly happy to have found your vids and seeing you use your platform to make the world a better place (even if you can change 1 mind, thats a huge win for humanity, thats one less person willing to allow h8 to happen and one more decent human being to stand up for the voiceless. I'm a trans woman and your trans ally video made me feel seen in a way no other motorcycle content has even attempted. Thank you. I hid who I was through the MSF, I hid who I was getting my license, I hid who I was buying my bike, and I wonder every time I exchange waves with another rider if that person would put me on the curb if they knew. We as a community have a lot to say about our own experience with struggle, the daily dread of being trans in public, and the occasional gender euphoria if we're lucky, but the reality is that we need good voices outside ourselves. People who need to hear these things are not interested in hearing from us, not at first anyway. I know some queer people chafe at the idea of cis/het people speaking for us but the reality is that until one of those chuds gets a primer from someone they feel is "normal" they see us as an other that is easily dismissed. So thank you again, I think you're doing good work. I came for the flags and stayed because, to my surprise and joy, there were bikes next to them.

It's terrible how trans people are being affected in some of the worst states, I'm a trans woman and I live in Oklahoma since August 2022 I've been homeless, I've lived in my truck and worked selling coffee because it's the best job I can get here, hormones have no became unobtainable for me because Oklahoma has taken away my access to healthcare, my parents are pro-anti-trans, with the predominate stigmatism here in Oklahoma I've also lost all of my friends that I've had since middle school, they were my former house mates and we knew we weren't going to be in the same house at the end of July 2022 but for 4 months they gaslit me that we would get a house together after that one and the day after leaving that house they blocked me on everything and I've had 1 conversation with them since involving a storage unit, and my cars engine exploded leaving me stranded behind my job in the parking lot with no way to shower for 2 1/2 months, people make it seem like trans people are so privileged but please see the truth of how we are as trans people suffer from the effects of systemic oppression, thank you so much for the way you tell the truth about trans people's struggles and know I appreciate your content so much! 💖

Me too. I've never had an interest in cycles, came close from time to time but I know they're not for me. My only thing is to drive reassuringly around them so the motorcyclists don't get afraid. We've got to share the road, right, so we can all get where we're going safely, and I'm in a nice safe metal box with four wheels so I adopt and show patience. But for all that your channel hits so strong and you say important things very well. Just eff why I I learned, as a government so-law-abiding mummy's wet dream to consider all cop cars "threat vehicles" and all cops "potential killers." Period. I don't have to be on the wrong side of the law to get killed by a scared or angry policeman and so many people like me (white, middle aged, relatively prosperous) don't ever consider it happening. It's less likely due to white privs, but it is not unknown.

Your channel could take off based on that very video. Perhaps it is time you considered a producer (from your own circles) who you can bounce your ideas off before going public. BTW your Venn diagram analogy was SO wrong. You had the courage to display your own journey and growth of awareness in your "How I went from Transphobe to Trans Ally" video. That is such a powerful gift to others through your example. I'm not suggesting for a second you change from your passion for which this channel is founded, riding bikes, but also don't stop displaying that a crazy wild bike rider can also have empathy toward the people around us who may lead a different life. Their journey is as valid as yours and some of them probably way more courageous.

There's this thing in the US, where large vehicles are prioritized legally and via infrastructure in a really harmful way. In addition to the structural aspects, there's cultural aspects where people in large vehicles sometimes intentionally try to hurt/kill you/run you off the road because they feel more entitled to access the road, even though they pay the smallest price per mileage for maintenance of the infrastructure. People on bicycles and motorcycles are more vulnerable and less likely to hurt others (simply by virtue of less mass and momentum), and yet we don't prioritize the infrastructure we need for these folks to safely ride separately recreation and transportation, because we've been brainwashed by oil company propaganda. Bicycles can ride on the sidewalk, motorcycles can ride on bike paths, as long as they aren't being dicks to those who are more vulnerable. If you don't like it, demand better infrastructure (barrier-separated dedicated lanes) that doesn't prioritize cars and trucks to the detriment of the entire fucking planet. - Sincerely, someone who has been intentionally run off the road by a school bus while riding my bicycle.
