The same is being done here in the heart of devon. Took my old mk1 theoben rapid 7 out for the first time in ages and nailed a couple but not many around due to shooting with rimfire recently. Every village needs someone like us !!!!

Hello my friend. Great shooting, I enjoy your videos. Thank you. I hope you don't mind me asking, is your rifle the Ultimate Sporter? I have the side lever, its fantastic air rifle. Have Air Arms uprated it? I noticed your biathlon cocking lever and improved stock. It's expensive and difficult keeping up with the latest models, though yours looks fantastic. I do like the biathlon cocking levers. If you've already posted this information, I'm sorry and apologise. Best wishes and good luck with your future films.

No problem Ian. Usually my equipment is detailed in the video description. It is a AA S510 Ultimate Sporter non regulated version but I have had a aftermarket reg fitted. The stock is a GRS stock which can be purchased separately.

@Lancs Vermin Control Thank you my friend, for your kind reply. Did your rifle come with your biathlon cocking lever, or did you fettle that as the same time as your regulator? Thank you.

The biathlon lever is a 3D printed one from eBay. You can buy metal ones now from.

Hiya Pal, Great video & commentary; thank you. That last one, the way he backed up against the tree as seen from the Go Pro; you should have given him a blindfold and last fag; only decent thing to do... Perfect shooting, especially the one who thought he was out of the danger zone; I bet he still has that splitting headache! The sound as he hit the food box on the way through; ouch! Well done, Steve...

A new meaning to the last supper! Imagine chomping into a Big Mac only to get your head blown off… I bet that’s already happened in America! Honestly, as long as it’s not a missed shot, I bet this is the most humane dispatch for these buggers. Much respect to those who can do pest control, I know I couldn’t. If I had to kill animals to eat, that’s me forced into vegetarianism 😡

🤦🏻 Don't think I could eat one! Trap & shoot is about as far as I go. I dislike killing them. I dislike killing anything really. But, they are an invasive species. They do a lot of damage. And successive governments have allowed the situation to get completely out of control. So - got to be done.

Unfortunately they are a threat to the native red squirrel. They spread disease which causes suffering to the red squirrel. They damage trees and eat songbird eggs. That’s how they’re a pest.
