RIP young man. The music's narrative and the lifestyle being lived is why a lot of young brothas don't live to be old men. It started with gangsta rap. I'm not trying to preach or be hypocritical because I'm an 80's baby who grew up on gangsta rap, but there is a reason why the powers that be invest more heavily in prisons than they do jobs and learning institutions. Trap and drill music is the child and grandchild of gangsta rap from the late 80's and the 90's. We have to change the narrative or there's going to be a continued genocide. We recently celebrated 50 years of hip-hop, but what is there really to celebrate? What has it done for our people on an economic scale? Black folks in the United States are still at the bottom of the economic toll. We don't have $h!t to show economically for 50 years of hip hop and the genre itself has turned to $h!t.

Thts probably the realest shit I’ve seen anybody comment. U ain’t lying, especially w all these vultures making profit off of our dying brothers Adam22, Vlad, etc…. It’s no wonder we keep dying and staying at the bottom of the food chain. But at the same time Niggas gotta wake up nd smell the coffee, cause shits getting real out here and it’s only a matter of time before hip hop as a whole is either gonna be played out, or stale w all these rappers getting popped left and right.
