There was a reason beer was the liquid of choice a Millenia ago, you couldn't trust the water.....kinda like Flint,MI. As well, 'health canada' regigged the food pyramid too. Now, frosted cereals (straight up HFCS) is healthier and encouraged over unadulterated cereals like cream of wheat or oatmeal. Sadly, too many idiots will take it as gospel to the detriment of their own well being.

It's just a guidline, much like they did years ago with cigarettes. I remember as a child in the seventies, the guideline on the side of the Dumaurier pack warned not to smoke more than a pack per week.You can still smoke today, but I don't think any amount is safe.Alcohol is a carcinogen and if you didn't drink at all, it would probably be better. As far as pop goes, ya probably not a good idea to drink two litres per night lol

In Germany (Bavaria), beer is part of the "national bread basket" and it is considered an essential food staple for everybody older than 16. Even inmates in prison got the legal right for at least one liter of beer/day and retired workers of breweries get approx. 150 liters of free !!! beer every month, delivered right to their doorstep, - no matter how old they get. No kidding.

@@SpongeBath_ShitPants Nah, not really. I once knew an alcoholic and he'd have 4 drinks before 11am. 4 a day isn't great but it's nowhere near being an alcoholic.
