I have always wanted to visit but I’d definitely take my car on the ferry. Such a unique place in North America.

It's honestly small enough that you can walk around the whole of St. Pierre with ease. Miquelon-Langlade is bigger, but there is a really great tour of the islands at the tourism office there. Thanks for checking out my video! You should definitely go and visit it! ✌️

Is it customary to tip? Apparently not on mainland France. Merci.👍🙂

It was optional, I did when the service was good. I was also there in the off-season so I felt bad if I didn't as they weren't very busy at the time.

I'm at a hotel right now. Very stuffy, no sheets in the bed just duvet, 🤦♀️ no a/c, no fans, can't open windows or doors as kitchen staff is smoking right below. Supper wasn't good at all.😢😢😢 My Sister's are visiting from outside of Canada and I'm from Newfoundland. I can't recommend this hotel. The Ferry Run was nice but expected more room to enjoy the beautiful sea breeze and scenic views to takes pics...they have a lot of work to do. Very beautiful place though. Hopefully tomorrow's Restaurant's will be better.

That's too bad about your hotel. I had a really nice experience at the b&b that I stayed in. I asked about the ferry, and they said that because it crosses such open water, there was a risk of waves and someone falling over. I also was there when it was pretty cold, so I had no desire to see the outside of the boat :D What restaurant are you going to? ✌️
