Also an extra tip on this is it use Localcoord = to make the background either small er or larger really helps when trying to fit stages into zoom etc.

This doesn't seem to work with the stage I'm using. I'm using RUIN CITY which I'm pretty sure is high def, and permanently zoomed WAY too far in, and I can't seem to fix it. Using Mugen 1.0 btw.

Hi, great work, it's very helpful. One question : I would like the camera to follow the character when this one is jumping (in the case both characters are closed). For example the camera will follow the head of the character. My chars are in HR that's explain they are bigger and when they jump the sprite will cut. thanks man

i have this stage which doesn't seem to work using the zoom, i'm using mugen 1.1 for sure, i've gotten one other stage to work on zoom but this one just makes the screen go closer when i raise the zoomout value, and the zoomin doesn't seem to change anything, this is the stage code right until zoom values, (i have no idea what any of this means) [Camera] ;Camera starting position: Usually 0 for both startx = 0 starty = 0 ;Left and right bound of camera ;You may want to fiddle a bit with these values to make sure the ;background doesn't move too far or too little ;*** boundleft = -210 boundright = 270 ;High and low bound of camera ;High is a negative number. It's a good video, very interesting ! But, I have "flighing" characters and when they flight, the sprite cuts and you can see just one character and it's a problem :/ . How can I for follow two characters when one is on the floor and the other in fly please ? Thanks (sorry for my english I'm french) Moins

the problem for that will be that the sprites for the stage may be too small and will cut off

Just a simple tweak I did to KFM so I could look at the top of the stage longer. I now use a different method as seen in my newer videos of him having more air jumps, which works better. Go into KFM's CNS file and under movement change the air jump to something higher. airjump.num = 9

So you don't want the stage to zoom? To remove the black bars on the side just just move in the boundleft & boundright numbers until the black bars are gone.

Hold shift and then click F4 to reset the round. This also resets the stage so any edits that you made will take effect.

Yo I'm having some problems with Tapion's Tenkaichi Budokai stage and a few other high res stages being stuck in place with no scrolling. I think it might have something to do with the zooming. Any help would be great.

I have no Idea what anything means lol. I'm a bit of a newbie. I just downloaded this stage and it remained stuck in place on the far left and won't scroll. A few of the others do that as well.

Too bad I don't know anybody so I can get face to face help. Watching tutorials just go over my head. Especially if they fail to teach me the basic parts of how to do it beforehand. I can add characters, music, lifebars, screenpacks and stages and all that good stuff but I suck at coding and editing.

I gotcha, yea this is an tutorial for moderately advanced Mugen editors. Just try to copy what I typed in the vid and keep firing up the game to see what it does. I'm sure you could figure it out in a few hours & have the stage zooming like you want.

Yeah at this point it's all trial and error for me. Me and my buddy are gonna get drunk and bust our asses on this lol! I'm working on a DBZ Vs. Street Fighter Mugen. (One better than the sloppy work of Dbz Supakid) I'm later gonna modify Balthazar's DBZ characters to have the same sparks and mechanics as the SVC chars I'm using for the street fighter team. If you wanna be a part of it that would be great. I'm primarily a musician and visual artist. I do mostly comic/manga style arts and I planned on hand drawing the endings for each character in the game. You on skype or facebook brotha? I'll definitely credit you for helping me code and whatnot. When my hand heals I'm gonna grab my guitar and write the main theme for the game. Since it's freeware I'm throwing in some other music from youtubers and popular power metal and street punk bands like Stratovarious for the epic stages and The Casualties for some of the more gritty downtown looking stages. Just looking for stuff that fits. As for my song, I'm gonna make it reminiscent of Live And Learn from Sonic Adventure 2.

Guys does anyone know how to make the camera zoom out when you do a super jump instead of following the player that super jumped? On this guys video when he jumps the camera zooms out like it does if you go to the sides of the screen but mine follows the person with the camera so you cant see player 2 on the ground etc

Of course you need Mugen 1.1. Zooming is not a thing in Mugen 1.0

Man all my stages are zoomed in after I installed EVE. It almost makes the game unplayable. I tried this zoom technique and it worked on one stage, but the rest it seems doesn't recognize the command.
