Pour-over is my favorite method. It gives a thin, even coat. I've had problems dipping in the past and end up with a "hump" somewhere on my nail that needs filing to the n th degree. Lumpy application takes so much more work! I'm a total weirdo and I've embraced it since I was in my teens. I can count the number of straight bars I've been to on one hand. We used to attend the Vampire Masquerade Ball every year until the lines for Absinthe got 30 minutes long and the midnight waltz left us with about 2 ft of space to dance in. I was "goth" before it had a name, as early as 1981 or 1982, and folks used to cross the street because they were afraid of us. We just giggled. I've "trained" all of my friends to accept the weird things I do as "oh, that's just April". I get respect when, at 56, I'm dressed like a soccer mom and waltz into the Coffin Bar downtown and hit the dance floor. I've had a lot of drinks bought for me by folks I don't know because I was completely unexpected and because my "weird" is genuine. Be your genuine self, no matter what, at all times. If folks don't like it, they don't have to and they don't have to look at you or participate with you. Don't try to fit in where you don't fit. Be your honest self and you will find all kinds of places of acceptance.

Beautiful as always. My depression/ptsd/anxiety has kicked back up super heavy, so I'm going back in my hidey hole. I thought, or was hoping with fingers crossed, that watching nail videos would help, but it just reminds me of my nail supplies burnt to ashes 😢 As always, I love your videos and your vibe! ❤

I would love to see a video about mistakes. Like if you bump a nail in the process and you mess up the dip how you fix it. If you’ve already done a video like that, let me know and direct me to it because that’s my biggest problem. I inevitably bump tap or scratch a nail before activator or mess up a dip and don’t know how to fix it. You are really inspiring and since I am so new to dipping, I really get inspiration and ideas from you and your Facebook group.

If it’s not gel why do you have to be so careful not to get it on your skin? Also, what is the estimated time it would take for a newbie to complete this process? It looks fun & interesting! Very much enjoyed this video. Thank you!

Hey love! Any repetitive exposure to product has the potential to create an allergy. Also, product on the skin can lead to product lifting prematurely! If I’m being 100% honest, give yourself 2-3 hours for both hands. The more you practice, the quicker you can become. A full set for me takes about an hour. 🩷

🤔 I definitely have one with builder gel over full cover extensions but I don’t think I have one on tips. The process would be basically the same go depending on the length! Here’s the video: kzitem.info/news/bejne/pn6vlqGkk3mLlmksi=e0Qgch6Mfyj3UIU9
