just make a calibration curve and divide the slope by the intercept. thats the concentration of your analyte. this is massively overcomplicated, forget the equation. just don't spike your first standard

Does this formula only work with instrument signal readings of electrical values (volts, amps)? Can it also work with the absorbance values of a UV-VIS spectrophotometer?
