:) Идея для модификации, такого еще никто не делал - распилите ось пополам что бы изолировать две половины. Подайте напряжение на эти две оси. Для коммутации обмоток используйте герконы.

Great engine! Just two ideas: -Use a rivet instead of solder. -Join the magnets a little more and follow the circle of rotation of the motor. B-)

Pop Rivet Copper brushes to the base, put o rings on the commutator ends and epoxy. Put a turbine fan on the shaft between the brushes and the bearing made from a solid tin snipped every few mm and bend the sections at a 30 degree angle. that will run a column of air over the commutator in proportion to the speed of the motor and enable cooling and prevent the failure. It's a fancy toy science project to produce in the unique grain manner of production. :)

One thing to realize is a d c motors potentially a pulse. Because of the commentators. If you put capacitors on a dc motor That are the same ferrets as the coil has inductance. You can post it at just the right frequency to where it goes enormously faster.

Spinning the coil vs spinning the magnet. If the coil was the stationary one. And the magnet spun. You would have to come up with a design where things don't touch spinning causing wear and tear on brushes because it's metal on metal contacts and it's getting hotter with sparks

High current arcing is the issue here. Thinner wire with more turns on coils. Higher voltage and lower current. A vacuum cleaner motor will be a good solution to see how to do it. Many for free on the side of the road.

I like it. Move the Neodymium magnets closer to the armature and try using the Neodymium DC brushed motor to spin a secondary armature through a weaker magnetic field (ceramic magnets). Compare the input power consumed vs. the output power of the generator that uses a weaker magnetic field.

Why couldn’t you make another coil and make it produce the electricity to run itself? You ran it on a 1.5 volt battery., that’s a very easy amount to induce. Also, why not use carbon brushes like the ones used in power tools? There’s so much more you could do with this!

OK, did someone talk about the value of design? People are interested in knowing how it works. And there are still plenty of brushed motors around us today: in household appliances, in toys, and so on. Have you seen a household drill or jigsaw with a brushless motor? 😉
