A wonderful collection of photos, and of course, the very best of jazz trio playing. But that goes without saying. Life slips away, sadly. Now we learn about KJ’s strokes. Thank god these guys existed!

What an incredible and beautiful tribute. I am so taken by the tapestry of music woven by three that only they could convey. Yes, thank you, Gary,Jack and Keith. Let us all reflect and take it from here.

Blame It On My Youthに涙し、2013年5月の最後のオーチャード・ホールのMeaning of the Bluesに震えた。

There was a video on this channel of a recording I can't find ANYWHERE anymore. It was the trio covering Old Folks/All the Things I Love. I'd love to find that recording again
"Ballad of the sad young men"という美しいバラードです。

Forgive My ignorance ( I've had to use that phrase far too often in My Life 😀) but who's This lot then? I really like this, it's just a You Tube suggestion and I know nothing about the band. I come from a kind of The Crusaders, Heatwave, Steely Dan, Bob James kind of angle. Lovely track. 👍

This tune is "Ballad of the sad young men" by jazz pianist Keith Jarrett. You can listen to this tune on one of his albums "Tribute". So please google it :)
