On the pentatonic (African)scale he proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that he was the fastest Jazz guitarist alive.Easy on the ear.You do not have to be a fan of the genre to love his music. For South Africans if you listen closely to the late Sipho Gumede. It is not hard to find Clarke's influence on the later.Gumede's bass riff and the former are hard to distinguish.

I have been listening to this man for years just came across this beautiful masterpiece,my husband was a base player before he joined the military and he was still playing ,while he was overseas he first tour becoming one of the top bands over there, for a while,He and the other guy’s made a pact if one stay in all of them would. But they have to come back home.He came home and with a wife and two kids here waiting he was going to continue with the guy’s,but his shipment was lost with all his records, this base guitar and other items,it was really heartbreaking for him and he never pick up the base again, but as time want by our baby daughter got him another one for Christmas years later.we are a musical family and are all old school, our kids were rise in Germany and I thank God that they want to Military schools which the education system was excellent.I’m 65 young and still love this old school music. This stuff that they have out not is trash.
