Loved the easy to follow tutorial! Just curious, do you use air conditioners to keep cool there? I live in Texas and we couldn't function without them. lol
@AmandaRolfe
7 жыл бұрын
Yes! We use air conditioners here - both in the summer and the winter. We did have our air con on this day but it's a split system that can only do one area of the house at one time. While I was filming and melting in my sewing room, people in the living room and kitchen were nice and cool!! :)

Hi Amanda, thank you for making all of these blocks available to us it helps making it with the pattern. Please tell me how many blocks you will be making and how we will be finishing the quilt with the border and all. Again thank you. I'm excited to see block #9. Greetings from Lynden, Washington USA.

In this series, we'll be making 12 blocks altogether. Initially I was thinking of sashing each of the blocks together, then finish with a border. Lately however, I'm thinking I'll piece each block together without sashing but add a 4" or so border around the outside. Block 9 will out very soon!! :)

I love that you explain every step and anticipate the possible stumbling blocks (no pun intended!) I ordered the book that has the Union Jack flag block in it and that's on the list of things to try. Thanks for your very excellent tutorials, from a fan in Orlando, FL USA.

Oh I forgot to ask you can I combine your HST with your Star Sampler quilts? Or combine any other quilt pattern with yours?
@AmandaRolfe
7 жыл бұрын
Yes! The blocks in my HST and Star Sampler QALs all finish at the same size - 12.5". So mix and match as much as you like! :)
