I loved it they did the Deep Space Nine style ending where they resolve the main story and then introduce a thread for the next season. Rutherford was heartbroken at the end. And at least Tendi left knowing how he felt about her.

I think that this may well have been the best episode yet of Lower Decks. I like it that while they are keeping to the underlying comedic theme of the series, they are also slowly making Lower Decks more closely align wirh being an old school Star Trek series from the period of those series that aired in the 80's, 90's and early 2000's. As Nick said, this episode had lots of great elements taking place. I give this episide Five ⭐s.

Great Episode ! Loved the lines about Locarno looking like Tom Paris, that was so funny ! Also a the whole Star Trek 2 redo's with the Genisis device. The Chase, which was a copy from ST:2 . Great. I can't wait for Season 5 now. This show keeps getting better and better. Also Having Will Weaton come back in the Flashback. That gives us a timeline to look at. I have to admit this Star Trek Lower Deck Season 4 turn out be the best as Mariner, Boimler, Tendi and Rutherford became Lieutenant Junior while facing a lot of challenge. Every episodes are great but I am a little dsappointed that the writer never made an episode featuring Mariner and Jennifer at all in fact in episode 8 I was expecting Jennifer to join in the mission with Mariner so she could work things out with Mariner by amending this misunderstanding back in season 3 and be just friends but I have been told that it will happen in next year Star Trek Lower Deck Season 5 which it would mean that we will have to wait until next year😒. The final episode of Star Trek Lower Deck Season 5 is good except for Tendi to leave the Cerrito to return to her home planet Orion but watching at the end of the episode feels more like a cliffhanger because Tendi looks like she's turning evil after seeing her eyes. Well we're going to have to find until next year to see if Tendi will return to Cerritos and her friends.

@pippastrelle

Though there's not actually a whole lot of intra-family threat in the Tendi family, it seems. D'Erika doesn't go against her mother and I think she believes D'Vana, if she were to be a pirate, wouldn't want to bring their family down. So, she's an immensely powerful asset, and her sister back on her side.
@stevengalloway8052
11 ай бұрын
@pippastrelle - Whatever the case may be, I think Tendi's sister will regret this decision. She'll eventually see Tendi as a threat, maybe even fighting her for control of the syndicate. I could see Tendi, as part of her plan, to undercut her in some decision making. The last time they fought, I think Tendi let her win, to give her confidence that she could do the job. This time, Tendi would beat her to prove a point: that Tendi doesn't want to be in the syndicate, but Starfleet. Only then will the sister grant her leave... 😏
