@@Potemkin1711 Since the end of this series I have watched quite a number of your other productions including the new one built around USS Webster, all well done. I'm something of a SCI FI fan including Star Trek, also dabble in writing though nothing for ST. If I ever do I'll keep you good folks in mind. As some of our favorite Vulcans would say ... "Peace and Long Life."

Excellent. Just a touch of pathos, as seems to be the signature of quite a bit in Potemkin-lore. Intriguingly open ended at the end. RIP USS Potemkin. Live long and prosper, Capt. Grigory.

He's not watching the pods. He's ramming the Potemkin down the throats of the Romulan attack force.

I know he's ramming the Potemkin, that's his end goal. But right at 2:55 it does look at least to me like he's watching the pods, he wanted to make sure they got away to a safe distance before he took Potemkin into the Romulan ship. The safety of his crew :)

Going down with his ship? I know he's the captain, but such is frowned upon even in the U.S. navy. And in Starfleet, I would think it would be drilled into a cadet's head from day one of Command College that they need captains. Going down with a ship deprives Starfleet a valuable resource. Good episode though. Thanks for sharing.

Potemkin1711 I wanted to say that he is from the old school, ready to go down with his ship. After what you said however, it seems unlikely that he is really dead., but how did he change clothes, unless this the doing fo your "Calypso" girl? Will Grigory eventually return to the Federation Space?
@carlo1831

Potemkin1711 I saw it. I figured it was some kind of afterlife. I don't see how anyone could survive the explosion of a Constitution Class warp core breach (actually any warp core breach). If he actually survived, I'll be glad, but he was expecting to die. That would fly in the face of all Starfleet training. Starfleet considers its personnel to be expendable only as a last resort. If he were able to get to the escape pods but chose to die with his ship, I would consider that dereliction of duty. No matter how they felt about it, it's just a ship. And I'm sure another ship in need of a captain could benefit from his command experience.

Good thing T'Noshi was not on board, or was she and got rescued? RIP capt Grigory. I think the last part is from a NDE, right? No chance he could have been saved by an alien entity or perhaps it is the same as in Voyager, the guy pretending to be Janeway's father in Coda.

Okay, no way you just kill off one of the best captains in the fleet, even if he is saving the lives of his crew. I know this ending was written because y'all moved primary locations, but it was sad to see the Potemkin go. I have now watched all but one episode (watching the very last, "Room Service", next), and feel rather bereft that there is no more Potemkin universe left for me. At least for now. I wish I lived in Kentucky so I could join the crew of one of your other fine productions. And Alec -- you have a wife! Eyes front, mister!

@@ChristinaMoore79 We're currently in 2304. I doubt we'll make it to the modern Trek age. But to address the other question: all of our films are in the same Potemkin or Orion Universe. The other two answers are maybe and maybe.
