not necessarily. otherwise Ezri would have had the shuttle's computer extrapolate that. the only "computer" that could have figured that out ....... the positronic brain inside Data.

I think for the most part it is to die an honourable death. But also in another way they say that the enemy should die and they should live. It’s kinda of a contradiction way of a warrior code. Either way always entertaining.
