Thalassa says she would rather keep Ann Mulhall's body than her artifical one, so when McCoy refuses to sanction this, Thalassa attacks him with her mind (Return to Tomorrow)
Diana Muldaur is so beautiful and refined. It's obvious why she was a favorite of Gene Roddenberry. He used her in two TOS episodes and a made for TV movie "Planet Earth."

There is a WONDERFUL story told by Nichelle Nichols (Uhura) after she'd read several of Roddenberry's teleplays of Star Trek TOS episodes...She said to him something along the lines of: "Gene...you're writing MORALITY PLAYS....!" and she says Gene answered her (with a finger over his lips), "Shhhhhhhhhh.....!"
@STho205

Everyone knew they were morality plays. Most of 60s TV dramas were morality plays. This is a contrived "memory" of hers and Roddenberry's...as they wrote themselves exciting pasts. Serling did it too, pretending he did TZ in 1959 because he didn't want to write morality plays anymore and the whole series was melodramatic morality plays.

@STho205

@@davfree9732 I did. Serling was doing morality plays long before Roddenberry was writing (adapting) anything over 25 minutes. Big Valley and Gunsmoke were morality plays before Star Trek...and so was Daniel Boone where Spock was borrowed from (Mingo). Morality plays was the norm in late 50s and 60s dramas. Plathismo Majel Barrett and Nichelle Nichols are tied as the hottest as far as TOS goes. Gates McFadden and Lycia Naff were the hottest as far as TNG goes. Yes, Marina Sirtis usually is the standard answer but I think too many rate her high and was basically the sex symbol. She did evolve past that when she took command in the episode "Disaster", even more when she became a Romulan in "Face of the Enemy" and was complete in "Chain of Command" when she was in a standard uniform which in a way made her hotter. For that, she gets a high honorable mention. Suzie Plakson also gets a high honorable mention as Dr. Selar and Ambassador K'Ehleyr. Gwynth Walsh also is up there as B'etor. Those boobs cannot be ignored as well as her attitude. Nana Visitor and Terry Farrell of course get the vote for DS9. As slightly annoying as she was, Nicole de Boer gets an honorable mention as Ezri Dax. Seeing her in a nightie made up some of the annoyances. Chase Masterson also is an honorable mention. Her curves cannot be denied but ditzy attitude prevents her from rating higher. Many will say Jeri Ryan tops the list for Voyager for good reason. Equally hot was Roxann Dawson and many would agree there too. Many would say Kate Mulgrew herself was the hottest. I'll say that Jeri Ryan, Roxann Dawson and Kate Mulgrew are tied as the hottest as far as Voyager goes.
