There were tons of practical effects and "real" sets in episode I-III too, in fact, more practical effects in each film than in all of the originals COMBINED. (And I seriously don't get people's boner for practical effects. As long as it looks good, I don't give a shit how it was made.) And of course, there were lots of complete bluscreen-scenes in IV-VI too... no way he doesn't know that. I wonder if he's paid to blabber on about "real sets".

+Click to Revive Miniatures. Thousands and thousands of miniatures. When I watch the prequels with people, they often rag on how Kamino's "CGI whitewashed hallways" look terribly fake or how the 3D models for the Trade Federation space stations or the AATs have aged terribly, and I honestly really enjoy correcting them and seeing the looks on their faces. That's not to say the bluescreen was stellar, but saying that the prequels didn't use practical effects is just bull.

***** That's a bit different than the situation I was describing. That interviewer is clearly out to get Jake Lloyd, while this one (James Arnold Taylor) just seems a bit jumpy and interrupts Hamill in the middle of a sentence. Sure he is progressing the interview, but it is a rude habit he has that makes his interviewees feel awkward at times (though Hamill doesn't seem to mind too much). I was taught to always allow someone to finish speaking before saying my thoughts and not to interrupt, even if you know what they're going to say. It's just good manners. In my opinion, James should wait until there is a least a break in Hamill's speech before moving to another topic and he should also mention that he is moving along the interview for time purposes. Notice how at the end, Hamill is surprised that the time is up. It doesn't seem like too much to ask for James to mention that they are low on time, and thus he would like to ask questions more rapidly. Just my two cents.
