In this behind-the-scenes featurette, we take a look at the post-production ADR work that went into making Star Wars: Rendezvous (a fan film). ADR, or Automated Dialogue Replacement, is a process in which actors re-record their dialogue after the film has been shot. This is often done to improve the quality of the audio, or to fix lines that were missed, or mumbled during filming. In the case of Star Wars: Rendezvous, ADR was also used to add new dialogue that was not possible to capture during filming.
The ADR work for Star Wars: Rendezvous was done at Hear Kitty Studios in Albuquerque, NM, known for their work on Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and many other TV shows and feature films.
