I did pick three units for this Vader, one to keep carded and others for possible dioramas. Now the first loose unit I picked up had some flaws with the mask as it wouldn't sit properly. I was seeing his left side (which is our right side) of the mask being a little too high, leaving a strange gap. I did see it on the pegs and picked it up to see if the QC issues would be the same. Strangely enough, the mask did sit near perfectly. However, the paint job was a little worse. Plus the cardback on the second unit was slightly damaged (I keep the cardbacks of my loose TVC units). So I did some swapping. My only real complaint with the figure is the glove, specifically the right one, restricting the hinge for the wrist. Yes, I can agree that the lenses being dark-brown is inaccurate, but I would blame it on the material for the removable mask. From afar, we barely notice the lenses. It does help the figure stand out in my honest opinion. As mentioned, I'm keeping one carded because THAT cardback is amazing! And yes, I do have VC241 Dark Times Vader which I also found last year in the wildwest so to speak but it gives a greater appreciation for Death Star II Vader. My first ever Vader figure was during POTF2 with the Flashback Photo. That's when it all started along with a few LEGO sets and the 1995 VHS release. I unfortunately don't have that figure anymore. As in the words of Vader in the original film: the circle is now complete. Easily with TVC Cad Bane among my favorite TVC releases of the year so far, Cal Kestis being a sleeper hit.

For me, it's the definitive version; though, I'm partial to the ROTJ suit. Also, I appreciate the comparison with the "Dark Times" Vader. Both are solid figures and worth having.
