When a person cuts off sugar completely they will notice that even one full teaspoon of sugar become way too much sugar 😂 I did it for 8 months and it drastically changed my pallet for food (in a good way) and I lost a lot of weight fast! But everyone is different so what worked for me might not work for someone else

I tried eliminating added/processed sugar and had a good experience my first time doing it but fell off the wagon. Tried it again and it triggered my mood disorder big time - had to be hospitalized. I would love to come off refined/added sugar but I seriously would need some place that did in-patient detox.

Try it with salt too I know it’s extreme but til this day I only season my proteins(meat/chicken/salmon or cod) and everything else like eggs or legumes I leave unsalted It works for me but always ask your doctor before trying anything with your daily eating habits

Correction: the carbs are not in addition to the sugar. It's 48g of carbs total, 45g of which is sugar. So only 3 additional gramms of carbs there.

I drink regular coffee brewed at home for my daily fix. Occasionally I’ll ask my son to make me a latte at home, and he only adds a tiny squirt of caramel sauce. Store-bought drinks feel like the sugar is punching me in the face. 👊

You should do Dunkin Donuts next. Tell me why their matcha latte already comes with added sugar with no sweetener. Their small is 22g of sugar, medium 33g and their large is 44g. Mind you I'm talking about a matcha drink, which is technically supposed to be healthy for you. I've been slowly giving up sugar more and more each week. And I've really been noticing the benefits it has done to my overall health and feeling. I was just recently drinking matcha not long ago while eating unhealthy sugary snacks. But now I'm basically going the AIP route to fix some things up with my gut health.

I promise you a regular latte doesn’t have any added sugar unless there’s sugar in the milk, I’d probably stay away from the coconut and the soy milk if you want less sugar ( I work at Starbucks )

The truth is that plain latte or cappuccino will not taste that good because there bean is low-quality and thats why they cover the taste with so much sugar and flavors .. try to find a local coffee shop with decent beans and you will taste the difference

@@LacyLane1050Technically, both drinks you're recommending still contain sugar - dairy milk has 11 g per serving. Swapping out 2% milk for whole also doubles the fat content. Everything's listed in the Starbucks nutrition guide, ppl don't have to wait for Bobby to teach them this if they just learn to read.

If it’s too sweet for you, you can reduce the amount of syrup. Just get a plain latte, an americano, whatever you like. Everything in moderation. No one is drinking these drinks without prior knowledge that it’s a sweet beverage. We know.

Those are not bad at all. But one needs to treat them as a treat or dessert and only indulge in specials times you know? Even when I get a shaken shot as a treat I ask for 1/3 of the normal sugar. Only cause it tastes better. Daily? Just have a standard coffee or tea :)

That's why I prefer my own. I take special care to keep the coffee fresh storing it in a vacuum canister, adjust the grind size to espresso consistency then taste, and enjoy steaming the lactose-free milk to the right consistency and temperature before attempting and sometimes failing latte art. I've tried non-dairy alternatives and they either aren't low-carb or just don't taste that good in lattes.

I drive a lot on my job so on days that I didnt have time to make my own trVel ciffee or need to use a bathroom, I carry my own erythritol/monkfruit sugar, collagen, and packets of MCT oil so if I need a coffee, I order an Americano with heavy whipping cream and add my own sweetener and collagen. If I go to a Starbucks, I'll order an Oleato with cream but I try not to go there as much as possible unless its the only bathroom on my route.

I use to get a mocha ☕️ with whipped cream all the time at work, until I did some research on just how bad whipped cream is for you and the way it’s made. Thankfully 😅 I am now retired and not getting this anymore! Believe me folks, there’s a ton of calories and sugar in these drinks! Moderation is key!

Starbucks isn’t a “genuine” coffee shop either. It’s basically a McDonald’s quality of coffee that’s pricy. I’m sure a few of the customers think their baked goods are fresh from the oven in the back since I’ve heard a person assumed so before they were corrected by an employer.

I never buy coffee out at any establishment. I brew mine at home using only premium organic coffee , triple filtered water and unbleached coffee filters. Just add a touch of grass milk. The best! Buying coffee out will put a dent in your wallet and have an extreme negative impact on your health. Not for me.

Just use scale my guy. They cheap and accurate. Not all Teaspoon sized exactly same and different kinds carbohydrates’s sugars weight differently. Some are more dense than other. Scale makes you accurate in showcasing amount sugar precisely

For breakfast in one school district I added the carbohydrates that used to be posted on the food. No longer, of course… For kindergartners, between 40 and 60 g of carbohydrates every day. It was a lot of work to research that, but I could not find the ingredients for everything they put out for those kids.

Most things served at Starbucks are dessert coffees. I don’t really go to Starbucks anymore because they don’t carry the sugar free versions anymore and sugar will make me sick. Variety is the spice of life

When i worked there it was hard to avoid having a drink or two per shift. I was basically drinking 4 pumps white mocha with two shots of espresso daily. Regretable, but im trying to lay off so much sugar and focus on water only

My man is going to make a video about every single drink in starbucks telling us they put sugar in it. Yes bobby, we know starbucks drinks have sugar in them, that's why we like it, we don't need you to tell us they have sugar in them.

Not sure what’s more appalling… the sugar content or the prices? Either way I always feel like an outcast when I go to Starbucks and order black coffee.

Their pistachio latte, Frappuccino, and cold brew taste nothing like pistachio it’s a huge waste of money

Not sure there an additional 48g of carbs. Surely 48g includes the 45g. That’s a lot when you consider that our blood only contains 5g of glucose in total.

But how many cups are you drinking for the day, and how many other sugar drinks? Drink lots of water and eat your veggies, and get some form of exercise in. A sedentary lifestyle is really what harms most of us.

Starbucks & the likes should be made pay for all the medical expenses diabetes causes, like medication, gp visits, hospial bills etc. That wld teach them

In the uk i'd say coffee trends have crept up over the past few years. But most people i know still prefer a cup of tea with milk. Sometimes sugar. A lot less fattening and probably better for you.
