So Jake B posted a comment previously that I cannot find, that was very much correct. It would indeed seem better to upgrade a few times before maxing out, due to their cost effectiveness. Thanks for correcting me Jake :)

I can see why you say this, though I wasn't trying to come across this way. Perhaps a more friendly approach would work better next time? :)

I used to have a 10/1 winning rate in the 2 lanes version. What I would do is put 6 storms on mid and everytime one side of the lane is pushed back, I send the storms (one by one, not together), the psionic storm would lower theyre army enough to hold with cannons some pushes that we would nuke. It would make our team savea a nuke or 2 and i'ts basically a win after getting heroes. I miss Nexus Wars.

Why is the game time so much faster than real time? We start 00:00:04 seconds in and Ends at 01:38:38 but the video is only 01:10:00 long.

Starcraft 2 multiplayer by default runs at the fastest speed in game, which is actually faster than real seconds. I am not sure why this is like this, but it has always been the case to the extent of my knowledge. :)
