Stukov isn't enough really. Mentioning them isn't enough also. True but they should of had a major role in StarCraft II's storyline. The UED was/is the only true and most powerful terran faction and that is why people miss the UED.

The UED battlecruiser wasn't there to help the Terrans on the ground. The terrans on the ground are Dominion marines (Arcturus Mengsk's), it was UED's plan to lure the Zerg against them by using the psi-emitters. Those two marines simply thought it was back-up when in fact the UED were responsible for bringing the zerg there.

Back when the graphics were dark and foreboding, not shiny and sharp. Every battle seemed dire and dark, another last stand. Each unit had an interestingly wonderful backstory and things seemed perfectly balanced. Then Starcraft II happened. WoL was pretty darn good (though really shiny), but then the expansions came and the game catered more and more to only esports and ignored the typical player and created gimmicky units to make for more micro intensive gameplay... instead of interesting units that made sense and were cool. Mothership core? Pylons that make cannons basically pointless? Random explodey orb units? Mines that don't actually blow up? Flying zerg units that simply lick the opponents (regardless of size) and can fling them across the map? Blizzard stopped making StarCraft cool with the StarCraft II expansions...

Dude, these cinematics is the charm that gave another perspective to Star Craft, not only to him but also to the WarCraft and Diablo. These StarCraft, much as 3D and FX were not so evolved that time, the textures and everything, if it were produced content as well, as such, in my humble opinion, would give more visibility to StarCraft product and help to sell more, quality, action figures, trading cards, the new Heroes of the Storm. The fans would love and the quality of modeling, rigs and animations, it would be easier to produce than current cinematics that seem mega Hollywood productions.

Heavily inspired by the bridge scene in apocalypse now. Just realized this, from the circus lights to the silent black grenadier, the "who is in command" quote too.

This is just my opinion but I feel that this scene as gained ever more power now than when it first came out because watching mature, edgy stuff like this back then was pretty normal in stuff aimed for younger audiences but now a days you don't see stuff like this anymore.

@@thathandsomedevil0828 To My Dearest FB Friends: By now, the news of my defeat in the great drama storm has circulated. The drama and toxicity I aimed to deescalate in my circles is untouchable, and the friends and family I tried to be at peace with have proven to be more inconsolable than I anticipated. Whatever you may hear about what has happened out here, know this: I almost lost my lifetime friend of 23 years, who was like a brother to me. I shunned him. My conviction and unbreakable spirit shunned him. And now these things have consumed me as well in a perpetual death spiral of endless drama. You will never see me again, my loyal friends. Know that I like you and appreciate your company, and that yours truly have moved on to greener pastures(Google+). Au revoir. *click: Delete FB account*

And you think the UED are any better than Mengsk? They're not exactly the heroes of the story y'know. In their minds it's a waste of manpower and resources when they have other more important objectives to accomplish.

shows you how much i played starcraft....explosions to the rockets that kill the two zerg that get whacked after firebat blows up are the same sound effect for the reaver's scarab detonations Oo
@Khotgor
6 жыл бұрын
You know, whenever I see that guy in the white suit that killed the two zerg, I always think that he is Duran since Duran's character, the Ghost, has what looks like his bullets explode when it hits the target (like most Ghosts do), and every time I always think of this scene where the two zerglings explode by the guy's strange rifle design, which looks less like an Assault Rifle and more like an actual rifle or a grenade launcher of sorts. Thought this was where he was 'infested' by the Zerg. Also seemed like he was pulling up his Visor when the lights go up just in case they might see him or something.
@thosegreengentlemen

I thought this character was significant or really could have been significant, you know some sort of a local marshall like what raynor was, but obviously this isnt so since starcraft II was a big mess
