Well that was entertaining should have more views, anyways thanks for the summary gameplay too boring to watch 10hrs+ of gameplay just for the story.

Here’s a better story > space travel is rare commodity, most people spend their lives living on one planet, moon or big enough asteroid just working for mega corporations > you play as a worker on a mining colony, it’s more like a flying city for other ships to land on, refuel and continue, it makes a lot of money from trading but the real cash is in mining operations > you and your coworkers are hanging out in the “break room” which is actually a common area for the miners bunks > you can choose to play a few games with people, like pool, darts, drinking contest, etc which determine your stats, > eventually you land, mine and find an engine, you push a button on it which transports the entire mining colony and the asteroid it’s attached to a few bajillion miles away from where you’re supposed to be > the captain (the person in charge of the mining colony) gets confused and shit > long story short the people in the colony revolt, you can side with the merchants and engineers, or the captain and Admiralty > both sides have rewards and shit (Admiralty gives you non currency supplies and armour, Merchants give you cash and weaponry) > after the fighting is over the mining colony is absolutely fucked, half destroyed and about to crash land into a planet > you steal a dead merchants ship, the mysterious engine and gtfo > do a few side missions, building rep, making friends, etc > long story short you have to choose between giving the engine to the constellation (who are more like a cult, worshipping “the makers” who are aliens that left behind ancient devices for the next generation of space travellers) or the collective (a military group that take the ancient devices, figure out how they work, replicate it and sell the copies to the people) > siding with the constellation gives you access to “portals” (which is like the end part with travelling between universes except they also give you interplanetary travel, eliminating the need for a ship) a ton of decorative and cosmetic shit for you and your ship, and access to some of the makers devices, which can grant you invisibility, speed, etc > siding with the collective gives you a different kind of cosmetic shit, hella upgrades for the ship, and advanced weaponry based off the makers stuff (laser beams, gravity bombs, hard-light hologram soldiers) > eventually it’s revealed that the makers are like the Q from all tomorrows, but instead of hating humanity, they’re simply indifferent to it, neither caring nor cruel. Which changes after you (collective) successfully kill one, which turns them hostile to humanity > turns out the makers are leading the constellation since you killed one of theirs (they revealed themselves to the constellation, which has gone full cult, they take charge of the constellation and promise salvation from a maker engineered apocalypse) (they are either killed via Genetic bomb (device invented by collective to kill makers) to prevent them from enslaving humanity or they enslave humanity via the constellation, who sabotage the security for all major cities and planets, and are rewarded by the makers by being allowed to live comfortably, everything they could ever want is given to the constellation and even things they didn’t think of were given to them > tease sequel about human revolution > roll credits
