I absolutely love this game! I think people hate on it is because there is so little Arwing time. But honestly this game proves that not all problems can be solved by blasting through them (and I think Peppy actually said that to Fox), but requires on-ground work as well. The other hate I think is due to this being Dinosaur Planet 64, just made into a Star Fox game. No matter what this is easily one of my most nostalgic games.

I was always a fan of this game. For the longest time, though, I also resented Nintendo, believing they forced Rare to cancel Dinosaur Planet to convert it into a Star Fox game. However, after watching Nintendo World Report TV's video on the Dinosaur Planet build discovered in early 2021, it seemed to clear up a few misunderstandings I'd believed for years. A Rare employee who worked on both titles confirmed that the Star Fox IP was offered to them, not foisted upon them. Rare could very well could have continued developing the game on the N64 or GameCube as Dinosaur Planet, and in fact, many in the studio wanted to work on SFA. This suggested to me that there was no bitterness or resentment on the part of Rare, as I had originally thought. I'm happy both games exist in a playable state now and am excited for what the future holds for DP.

I've had to choose between making new content or splitting my old content into separate videos. As much as I know people would like me to split the remasters up into individual videos, it would be an immense amount of work. Work that would probably really burn me out. In short, I'm sorry but it will probably never happen. I really do thank you for listening to my content though. If you want to listen to the music individually, I do offer downloads of all of the remastered music through my Patreon.

I beat it on the Wii last year. GC games work on the Wii. I first started playing it in the fall of 2019, but I got stuck in the Lightfoot Test of Strength; I put it to rest until the summer of last year, when I bought a turbo controller which helped me so much.

@@mariokart8715 you can beat it using a spoon on a normal controller. Simply just slide the spoon back and forth on the A button.

Cape Claw and Thorntail Hollow; two of my most favorite tracks in this game. I've always liked video game soundtracks, but it's only now when I'm older I realize why. Just take the music away from the context of the game and you can easily be transported to wherever the piece wants you to go. With Cape Claw, I'm always transported to my peaceful happy space.

To this day i would love to have a proper version of the intro music/titlescreen music. Without the sounds and all and longer.

I obsessed with this game so hard since I first played it when I was seven, mostly just for the soundtrack alone. I think I actually made a save at the ocean force point temple and copied the file just so I could go back to listen to the ocean force point music whenever I wanted to xD

2:44:27 is where it's at. love that track. Fond memories of that game. So fond, I booted up the old cube some time ago... Specifically to replay it. it was like, a few days before the leak. You guys are all thinking about how neat that leak was, I'm sitting here like; what the actual hufflepuff?! What kind of fudged up timing is this?!

RARE needs to make a ship in Sea of Thieves that mimics General Scales’ Galleon. What a vibe and nostalgia trip that would be!

Such an amazing game. Sadly because weren't stuck in a ship for the entire time, we didn't really get a sequel.

I think there were a LOT of reasons why we never got a sequel. I think this game would have done much better if it was released how Rare initially envisioned it on the N64. It would have probably been one of, if not the most technically advanced games on the system.

I find the "Red-Eye Tribe/FireCrawler" Battle theme to be awesome, In my opinion! It's just a shame that it takes such a short time to beat the enemies LONG before the track were to finish. (Is all I'm saying.)

Thank you! And nope, no ads. I'll never monetize this channel. (I don't feel like I own the content anyway) However, I've noticed that some of my videos all of a sudden have an ad at the beginning. I'm not making any money from that. KZitem just does whatever it wants, I guess.

@@GEMGaming_yt "He should have never stepped in with his opinions on Dinosaur Planet." I disagree, Dinosaur Planet by itself would be outdated on the N64 and rough to play. In my case, Adventures beats the dumpster fire that is Zelda Wind Waker (terrible sea) by a long shot.

I was probably 7 when my sister and I got this game for Christmas. We didn't really know anything about Starfox beyond what we saw in Melee but we were huge Zelda fans and we loved Adventures. I just replayed it nearly 20 years later and I still think it's a fantastic game, because of Adventures now I've played every Starfox and it's one of my favorite game series so phooey to people who rag on this game for not playing like Starfox 64. If it were like 64 I probably never would have played any of them because that kind of game didn't interest me back then!

The traditional Star Fox games don't interest me either. This is the only game in the franchise that I've played all the way through. Actually, I haven't played a traditional entry since 64.
