I remember this one too! I think all of 'em are so intriguing, I have always loved Computer Generated Animation ever since I saw a Video entitled "The Mind's Eye", It was at the local Summer Fair around 2001 I think it was. That Is what actually started my interest in watching this kind of thing. I am a cartoonist that draws line drawing cartoons. I never published my drawings into comic strips though. I wish I could animate like this, but being on disability income which isn't quite enough left after Rent/bills, I can't afford such software required for CGI...and I am not acquainted with how it works either, or how to use such software. So, I just sit back and enjoy the projects that others have created!

After the fall of the Emperor and the Death of Lord Vader. The Empire had to come up with a new weapon to counter the growing support of the Rebel Alliance. So the best and brights across the Empire that did not flee, captured, or killed worked on coming up with this new weapon. A Starship. One that the Galaxy has never seen. This ship was the Starship Groove. Let us just say. The only thing the Rebels could counter with was "MORE COWBELL!" Still the Empire lost...all for lack of Cowbell.

This is what MTV should have become. An animated abstract steampunk music channel. Instead MTV began to air adoption shows and piss poor princess films.

I can't figure out why but seeing this movie playing at my grandparent's house as a kid is one of my most vibrant childhood memories. Weird.

Same here man. Guess it was showed in a lot of music classes, on like a free day or something. These all just remind me of my father, used to call them "his music videos" because I thought he made them (I was like 5 at the time at most lol)

My music teacher would show this to us at class years ago. It kind of freaked me out but also intrigued me. I stumbled upon this by accident, and now nostalgia has hit me like an 18-wheeler.

the animation is just stunning for 2005, even now it holds up amazingly, especially for just being created by two people. the music is super funky and enjoyable too, sad to see how animusic 3 ended up but the first two will always be iconic

The thing that amazes me is the fact that somewhere there is a person who said "let's make a video where instruments come alive and start playing themselves" and everyone was like "fuck yeah!"

When I was maybe 3-4 years old my uncle bought me a CD with this on it. This was my Cocomelon. I must have watched it 10 thousand times. I remember every single part of it even after a decade of seeing it. (I would watch it on my PS2)
