Excellent takeoff and Max Q. I believe there wasn't enough gimbal authority due to loss of engines to compensate the rearward CoG. Every time I put front canards on rocket in RSS the effect is the same. Move that COP down man. edit: Actually the flip might be a part of stage separation. Either way stage separation didn't went well and they aborted or the upper case.

I hope they can find why several engines kept failing. Seems odd for it to be by design, they're asymmetrical. Once it reached the thinner atmosphere and had lost so much mass from burning fuel, this seems to be what caused the spin and they couldn't separate the second stage. I wonder if there's a safety protocol that doesn't allow it to separate until the rotation has stopped.
@Slacker_eepy

the engine failures might be because of the debris that was shot up from the 33 engines’ force against the ground below the olm. this debris was probably going at insane speeds and some of it most likely hit some of the engines, leading to their individual failure

so in reality they didn't roll it on start, it was already positioned with tiles upwards. maybe cold air it goes throw at subsonic speed helps to cool down propellant. but then they did a roll before stage separation and it set more engines on fire, that sent it into an uncontrollable spin. maybe they gimbal too much and touched each other. then they just let the remaining oxygen to burn and terminated the flight
@FatovMikhail

hm... no, just watched NSF and it was flying with tiles down, so there was no reason to roll before staging. it probably was unintended roll
