We offer almost twenty undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes with a range of flexible study options, including studying online. We also have a thriving Postgraduate Research community. In the 2023 Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey , UHI received a score of 92% for overall satisfaction. This result means that UHI achieved the highest rating of any Scottish university for the second consecutive year and are ranked third out of the 101 participating institutions across the UK.

The main attraction of UHI’s masters degrees are the: high degree of flexibility in terms of study load and methods of study specialist subject modules reflecting staff research expertise development of key skills in historiographical and primary source research interdisciplinary nature of two of our degrees.
