Annuals add color and diversity to your garden landscape. While you can easily buy annuals at your local big box home store or garden center it's a lot more fun and cost effective to grow your own. Growing your own annuals also gives you access to varieties not typically sold in stores.
In this video we review how to start three common annuals from seed: Marigolds, New Guinea Impatiens and Begonias.
Starting your plans 4-5 weeks before the last frost for Marigolds, and 8-10 weeks before the last frost for impatiens and begonias will provide you with and abundance of color and floral diversity for your garden beds.
