The comment wasn’t mean, it’s true. Honestly is the only way to learn. She should’ve deep conditioned/steamed your hair, then gave you a proper blow dry. Your hair should be nearly straight after the blow dry process. Not poofed out. Also, a silk press is when silkening serums are used & the hair is wrapped (dubied) in plastic wrap.. you sit under thr dryer for like 10 minutes then you take it off & wrap the client with a net or wig cap. Your hair cuticles weren’t properly sealed. She’ll get better, but it didn’t look good.

Thanks for saying it in a nice way but it really isn’t on my friend My hair just doesn’t get straight fr cause I haven’t used heat on it in years . literally got this outcome at a Dominican salon as well 😂

@@imdiamante724 thnk you for standing by your point. You seem to have my youngest daughters hair type. Shes six and not only me but also my hairstylist agree the heat we'd have to out on it, would damage her curls. My hair is very macho (thick) and doesnt lay easily even though it's relaxed. I need alot of heat, then boom. We blew my daughters hair out.... Tubi( wrap) and all. And she had the same effect as you. Her sisters hair looked great for multiple days, until a freak summer storm.

The cut is choppy but probably properly done. She did layer by layer, and only cut off the spilit ends. I rather this than straight across and cutting hair that didn't need to go and missing hair that should have went.

These were my thoughts as well. Way too choppy, but I see she’s still in school. I’d have to find another way to support my home girl. Maybe you can bump the ends after someone has done everything else lol.

Its doesn't make you hair "grow" it helps with length retention. Everyone hair grows at least 1/2 an inch every month. My favorite thing to tell people is that your hair is like church tights that hole only gets gets bigger. So cutting your splits ends stops the strand from splitting further toward your roots causing them to break off faster than it grows. Trim at least every 2 months.❤

She looks like she’s in school… after coming to comments I see. Because she’s still learning try starting with a paddle brush and a blow dryer with a concentration nose. And use the chase method until she gets to a spot of being comfy with tools in her hand. Then work to a round brush … your hair is a good base for rollers or rods.

It’s not your hair that puffed up it was never silk pressed to begin with . For a silk press your hair would need clarified of all residue and hydrated but not much product applied before styling just some good heat protection. It needs to be properly blown out really smoothly and then during the straightening process, the stylist would need to take very small sections and pass over each one 1-3 times. Also a titanium straightener like the Babyliss pro works great for a beautiful silk press hope that helps for next time.

lol my hair does this too doesn't mater if it was pressed on 410 degrees it will look exactly like that. It's imo but not worth the damage. You should put some flexi rods in !!
