We are moving our whole farm to TN!!
Adam of No Trades and I are so excited to announce that we are moving our homestead from Seattle, WA to Nashville, TN! This is a little farm tour of our new place and an introduction to the projects you'll see unfold here. As sad as it is to leave our family, friends, and ALL the projects we did to transform our farm in Seattle, we couldn't be more excited to move across the country and have the opportunity to start it all over again, this time on a much, much larger scale. I learned so much building our last homestead, and I can't wait to put it all into practice here in Nashville. We've got our work cut out for us, the barn needs to get set up for the arrival of our livestock, we have fences to build, garden beds to put in, a well to dig, and a woodworking, blacksmithing and maintenance shop to build. If you haven't seen the video "the biggest little farm," go watch it now, it's a super inspirational story about establishing a permaculture farm, and details a lot of similar concepts and techniques we used in Washington and will adapt here in Tennessee as well. Stay tuned and we'll share the whole process with you!

My goal is to learn and share those techniques and skills that are in danger of becoming antiquated traditions. Whether it's carving spoons, making my own hand tools, or growing heirloom tomatoes, the farm and workshop definitely keep me busy and support on Patreon helps me to keep producing quality content to share on KZitem, Instagram, and my website.
