The official Marshall starting cartridges are still available in England. They are a slow burn black powder blank. They are a bit pricey though.

Lovely old series 2, but I do wish people will stop calling them shotgun "shells" giving the impression that a normal shotgun cartridge with no shot in it would do. I believe the Marshall starting cartridges contain a great deal more powder than a gun cartridge.

Looks so much like a Deutz the style of this tractor is so similar to Deutz

similar to a Lanz Bulldog not a Deutz (deutz made four stroke engines) Lanz made two stroke engines however no shotgutshells used in the Lanz

You can get 12 gauge shotshell blanks. They are used for training bird dogs. You just need to look around for them on the internet or catalogs that specialize in hunting or re enacting supplies.
