It always fascinates me what people keep in their lofts, as we keep nothing in ours. I had a friend who did 3 house moves and every time just moved the stuff in her loft to the loft in the next house! The only thing in our lofts for the last 35 years is a xmas tree.

I'm my experience it's best to get rid. I look at is this way, if you haven't used it in a few months you probably won't. You can't keep everything. I would get everything down from there, store it in your spare bedroom and go through it bit by bit. You will end up making the charity shops very happy believe me. Be mean with yourself it will be better to rid yourself of old things and treat yourself to some new pieces once everything is done. Good luck with it all. Looking forward to new vids. Stay safe 🤗

Oh I so know what that feels like! Especially when some of the stuff is other family members' 'clutter' because they haven't got room for it in their own homes! However, with all the dust and cobwebs that accumulate in those stashing places, de-cluttering is the perfect job for Halloween. Cast your magic spell, Mr Carrington - you have that special touch! :-))

Hi Mr C, I finished de-cluttering my loft last week, most of the stuff i gave to family, some i sold on Face Book Market Place, some i donated to our local charity shop and some i actually put back as they were my parents stuff which bought back memories and i want to keep them for that reason as they have both sadly passed now. The only other things up there are fancy dress items and Christmas decor so I'm proud of completing that task and it made me feel a lot better. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and a BIG thumbs up from me as always xx

Just an FYI, Iwan - I see your salt lamp in the living room; salt lamps are so good for cleaning the air...but you have to turn them on. ;) It is recommended to leave them on 24/7. The salt can get grotty if you leave the lamp off; it's the heat that keeps them nice and cleans your air! Up to you, of course, but there doesn't seem much point in having one if you don't turn it on to get the full benefit. ♥ You have taken on a big job with that loft decluttering. Whew! Wishing you luck as you work through the process. I'm so looking forward to seeing that loft emptying bit by bit. :D ♥

Well done Mr.Carrington! Wow - I thought my attic was heaving with stuff, you're not far behind me, what a daunting task lies ahead sooner you than me, that said, I really need to get a dumpster and organize next year for sure, so much stuff that can go, years worth of stuff just piled up in there, it's scary! Those bunny ears.....I was howling with laughter when you pulled those out - VHS seemed to just go overnight, suddenly all those VHS tapes became obsolete. You have a few months to get sorted, by the looks of things you'll definitely need it, the smarties tube, I don't know how old that would be, maybe 70s perhaps - I don't know how old you are, but you must have collected it from some place, either you've had them yourself or you've found it, but you must be too young to remember those surely? Hope you have a safe weekend from Storm Alex or whatever he's calling himself these days, and look forward to your Sunday vlog. Greetings from Cheshire xo
