Little long-winded but overall a solid video. I'm a bit bummed out that hardtail guitars are called Mustang and not Duo-Sonic but I get why Fender does it. The main addition to the line up that I would like is a player series with a dynamic vibrato. Though the monkey's paw will proabably grant me a player cyclone.

This was fantastic! If it wasn’t for your classic vibe starcaster demo I would’ve ended up with a mustang- speaking of which do you think you’d do one of these for the Starcaster? I know there’s some interesting stuff with the starcaster line vs the guitar

The Ben Gibbard is not the only signature Mustang. Fender Japan has the Char Mustang as well in some pretty cool colors.

Fender introduced the Esquire then the broadcaster followed by the nocaster in 1950. 1951 was when fender 1'st used the telecaster headstock logo.

The first year of the fender bullet was 1981 made in the USA' I bought a pair of them new $325.00 including hard shell cases from a vendor at the flea market. Sold one 2 days later for $200.00 and the other one got stolen July 4'th 1999. I have the preformer mustang and the player duo sonic' I'd give both to have to have the bullet back.

I know they dropped the jaguar from some lines, but I think part of that was to drive sales of the johnny marr jaguar, which IMHO is one of the best guitars they've ever made. It's obviously a higher price point but I think it's one of the most usable and best sounding jags ever.

I think it was probably because the American Pro Jaguar just wasn't selling. I don't think they'd drop a product not to cannibalize another. But I will say the American Pro Jag was a slightly worse Johnny Marr in almost every way, so it makes sense why they didn't sell enough.
