This is really getting into the deep philosophy behind NVC.

Static language - I would expand on it. And I'd begin with giving it symbolic pictures. It is like a crutch, lost in unfinished learning curve. It is like a template. It is dead. Because it is just a container. Life is dynamic & constantly pulsating 💓 - expanding & contracting. The static is just a snapshot of it, if we would stop it for a moment, freeze it, but we can't stop life, so it is bubbling along without any concern for us - we can or we can't catch up with it. Dynamic language is all inclusive, it include unacceptable, it include all the static elements of it in its flow. This is what so hard to grasp with understanding, because understanding itself is static, we only understand what is old.

Very cool. But I would have loved to hear what is the alternative to 'static language.' Feels like the video ends just when it's getting interesting.

The alternative is what the majority of his work was about, and what most of the other videos on this channel are about: nonviolent communication, or NVC for short. There's lots of his talks on youtube!

Stay tuned - the next video in this series will be online on Monday! In the meantime, have a look at Marshall's other talks here, were he is presenting some alternatives: kzitem.info/door/PL5uROBIvcELXK4l4h6j8DF7O1ExSn2N9Z
