The static measurement, in fact, it measures the angle of wheel rim plane. Once the rim,wheel clamp and target are deformed, measurement data will be biased. For the static measurement wheel alignment, its static measurement result (without pushing measurement) is same as “pushing measurement”. Because its so-called pushing measurement cannot reach to the real dynamic measurement, its result of pushing measurement is same as without pushing measurement, only the measurement data of new machine with non-deformed wheel clamp and target will be close to accurate value. Once the machine is used for a long time, that the wheel clamp and target are deformed, there has been a significant decline in measurement accuracy.
The dynamic measurement is made by simulating the actual rolling process of the wheel, which can effectively eliminate the deformation of rims, wheel clamps and targets.
For the machine with real dynamic measurement, if the deformation of rims, wheel clamps and targets is large, its result of static measurement and pushing measurement (dynamic measurement) has great difference. Because the errors caused by mechanical deformation can be eliminated by software calculation.
