Hello my friends, and thank you for taking a moment out of your life to spend with me! It's the darkest time of the year here in Denmark, and the challenge is to balance acceptance of the darkness with ways of ignoring it. Different ways of coping. Is it darker earlier where you live, or is it the same, or even the opposite? Maybe you're not even influenced by the changing of the light? There's something to be said for all seasons, and I wouldn't be without this time of the year; I just find that I'm different than in the summer, but maybe that's exactly as it should be. Of course, I don't just mean the darkness outside but any kind of 'darkness', be it lack of energy, seasonal mood swings, etc. I hope you manage to deal with all of it, if you're challenged by any of that. Here's a little postcard from me at any rate, wishing you all the best wherever you are. Much love, Helle
P.S. The award ceremony I mention in the video took place at the city hall in Odense where I live. That's why I could attend it (with the help of a friend who managed to get us two of the free but few tickets).
