Man, I gotta say I never thought I would see guys this young getting onto a good path with their lives. I see too many young guys being negatively influenced by peers and all of the media, it is so wonderful to see that Hamza is having such a positive influence on so many young men. Gives me hope for the next generation!

Yeah, obsessing over self improvement can be a trap in that way, or like getting prideful & egotistical thinking you're superior to all other human beings for your self improvement can also be very toxic & unhealthy to the mind & spirit, lead you to the path to the devil instead of seeing it as a wholesome positive thing & just a way you can be a better human being to everyone you're connected to in life, parents, friends, kids, loved ones, community etc etc. I think this video will help a ton of younger guys that always feel they fail their new years resolutions.

@@prizethought dude, i was like that. My pride and ego would skyrocket, i look down upon people, cut people out. But now i've changed, i've matured. I realised that, these people is "normal" and i don't have any rights to look down on them. It's amazing to see my growth as a person for the past 5 months

I’d tell that young man that it’s ok. You’re still young, enjoy youth a little. But what I will say that it’s a lifestyle change. As long as you’re doing the good things more than the unproductive ones, you’re already doing better than most humans on this planet.

I’m going through what hamzas explaining except when I mess up I get rlly pissed and talk down on myself. Then u try and make up for it by hitting the gym or something. My parents have said I shouldn’t be so hard on myself but I feel like I should. I was good for so long and then I masterbated once and I’ve been addicted on and off again for the last couple months.

Try changing up your schedule. Instead of just self-centred improvement, you can give back to your community by volunteering or picking up litter. That should help with your negative thoughts.

It's the exact feeling of getting pissed off that is reinforcing the bad habits bro. Instead of being unbelievably ambitious set yourself daily expectations, predictable, reasonable goals. Don't push yourself too much(although this seems being a 😺). You'll thank me in how much more your life has become predictable and managable. This is also the exact thing Hamza talking about. Your brain circuts will fry if you keep pushing without specifics and predictability

In James Clear's 3-2-1 newsletter, he shared a quote that fits the context of this video. He said: “Life is a series of seasons, and what works in one season may not work in the next. What season are you in right now? What habits does that season require?” What has worked before may not always work, so what can you do to make things work right now? Personally, in summer, I used to wake up early to watch the sunrise and meditate while the sun hits my closed eyelids. In the winter, I don't have that luxury, so I meditate when I wake up and I get to see the sun hours later and I make it a mission to, no matter how cold it is, go walk outside. That's how I deal with the change of my seasons.

Hamza, I recently discovered that biphasic sleep cycles are natural for human beings and before about 300 years ago, it was normal. Biphasic sleep is when someone goes to sleep, then wakes up for a few hours, and goes back to sleep. This may be why some people wake up in the middle of the night and struggle to go back to sleep. *I suspect that this time in the middle of the 2 blocks of sleep can be used for an unimaginable period of pure focus*. This was confirmed by research I did.
