Before the winter holiday, I took a bus from Leavenworth to Seattle, Washington, and stayed overnight in a hostel to catch an early flight the following day.
The Green Tortoise Hostel was about $50 per night for a twin bed and was located next door to the historic Pike Place Market. The market closed at 5:00 pm before I arrived, so, unfortunately, my plan to buy fresh fish to cook in the hostel that night failed.
Included in the price:
- Breakfast, you just have to make your own eggs and clean your dishes after use
- Bed with bedding (you have to remove your sheets and pillowcase the following day when you check out)
- Activities (we had a free wine night starting at 7:30 pm PST)
- Secured baggage storage if you want to explore the city without your suitcase(s) or backpacks
Additional cost:
- Lock
- Towel
