I love those 7610 John deere tractors. They were like a 4240. Fantastic looking hay. I'm an organic dairy farmer from upstate new York. We farm with 4020s and 4440s mostly

I was so glad to hear him share about that young man killed in a silo & how he's getting away from the old ones! I'm glad he pays attention to safety (wearing his seat belt too!). I know several people killed by tractors & wouldn't want that to happen to his family💙

Me too. These guys that start with mower to the outside don’t have trees. Around here with the ash trees dying we have to pick up wood when mowing raking and baling and still probably missed some

Thanks for another great video Kip. It was interesting and enjoyable to watch. Nice work getting your hay cut down for raking and baling. Your auto steer sure helps you when cutting hay. Thanks again for explaining and showing the system to us. Sure is accurate. Really nice having that Kip. Good investment getting that system. Your hay crop is looking great. Nice crop of hay this year. Thanks for everything. Take care. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

When I move my monitor from one tractor to another,I leave the adjustable bracket on the monitor and on the bottom of the bracket there is one I think a 3/8 carriage bolt with a large wing nut ,and I disconnect there to move from tractor to tractor

Interesting stuff once you’ve run a field through with that gps will it be mapped for the next time you work it?
@aaronbeisch4707
3 ай бұрын
Yes, it will be mapped. If you want you can save the ab line for the next time or you can set a new line. Kip is running a more accurate system than I am, so my lines will move in between cuttings because of the satellite movement in orbit. But if you are asking about the screen being painted blue, a small screen with popup and say when you were on the field last and ask if you want to continue with coverage or clear the blue and continue.

Ya sure got me too with "not one of'em out here." I used to board out on a dairy farm in the fifties. One of the best parts of the day was sitting at the lunch table. Bosses wife was an outstanding cook, and there was plenty of it. Supper was good, too, but just not as heavy. If we were in the field she'd bring a full spread so we'd eat off a tailgate or wagon rack. We rode'm behind the baler. Thanks for sharing. Grant man sure is coming on. Lookin good.😎👍🇺🇲 Blessings.
