Actually the end you show at the end is called the Porterhouse and the other end was the T bone.

I was ready to say the same. Aggravating, living in Germany, the peace he had to the right, commonly called, "New York Strip" is what a many German butchers will often give you and say that it's a T-Bone. NO!

Correct .... the porterhouse contains the filet. The t - bone has a small piece of filet at other end , very small .

Yum! Thank you for sharing. I was watching a bon appetite video and he cut out the loin and I could not figure what happened to the t-bone. The t-bone is a tenderloin and New Strip all in one. Yum!
