My Journey started in Michigan and I drove about 7 hours total, on day 2 I spent the night at the I80 Iowa largest truck stop, horrible weather but the next day I got up and hit the road towards Casper Wyoming my first stop on this 3-week trip to visit a friend for a few days.
On day 2 I surprised myself by driving a few hours stopping having coffee a walk etc and just said well I will drive till I feel sleepy but I drove thru almost 14 hours and made it to Casper in the early morning hours.
Once I arrived in Casper, I did a walk-thru of the changes to the van I have made since my first two trips, I added a Bluetti Ac200p battery wow this thing is awesome, so I also was able to add my Keurig mini plus coffee maker and that is a game-changer for me. I was able to stop and make a coffee anytime anywhere, it uses about 4% of the battery due to the high wattage of the coffee maker but the ac200p has LOTS of reserve power so even after a few days of cpap, laptop use, fans, fridge, hot logic, coffee I am still at 78% of my power left.
I will recharge the battery here at my friends I don't have or carry solar panels for this, I had to sell off some things to buy this battery but I think it was WELL worth the investment! Links in the top of this description if you want to read more about what you see in this video but the battery was my biggest investment and so far it's awesome once I use it these 3 weeks I will do a summary review.
After Wyoming I head to Colorado to the mountains in a timeshare, these were gifted to me by my parents so it's use or lose so I'm gonna USE IT!
Then to my sisters near Denver a few days, then to Albuquerque where I will meet up with Stacey and we will continue our journey home along the bottom of the US hitting a few spots in texas see my other sister, then homeward bound.
No big schedule or plans so we will update as we go. Life is short so just go do it!
Bill :)
