1:07 Having all the different whistles coming in individually is one of the coolest things I have ever heard in my life... The whistle is certainly as strong as the name suggests!

Good ol' Hercules, still tuggin after nearly a century. Carry on ma'dear. Edit: OVER a century, Hercules is 100 years old as of 2007 (Hercules was built in 1907)

Boy howdy, she's a loud one! The old girl chugs up very nicely. Amazing that she is still making her way through the currents after 100 years and counting. Great video!

I wouldn’t know, but I think it’s one of the most beautiful I’ve heard. The only one that beats it is the whistle of the RMS Mauretania, which was built the same year. A high quality recording of it was made, as the whistle was sold to a mill after the ship was scrapped. It now rests with a collector.

I would imagine you are thinking of the Hercules from San Francisco? This one is a Dutch Switcher with the same name. I believe it's Dutch anyways
