I noticed you also have the MX Master 3s. Have you felt any improvements by mousing vertically? Do you notice a loss in precision on minute objects?

The MX Master 3s is great! The newer version has a silent click which feels quite nice. I also have the MX Vertical, which does take some getting used to. It took me a few days to get used to it - I wasn't able to point and click as quickly during those few days.

I'd suggest buying an external monitor, as it will improve both your productivity and ergonomics quite a bit. It's suboptimal to look at the screen from above.

or just angle the screen and move the laptop closer

I ended up getting an external monitor. It's definitely an improvement.

Hey great review. So which chair did you end up using? Embody or leap? And why?

I ended up returning the Leap V2, and ended up getting the Embody chair. I've been enjoying the Embody since it provides more adjustments - especially for the arm rest. The one big negative is how noisy Embody is. It makes a lot of creaking noises when you move around in it.

@@theguyiskevin Why did you end up returning the leap V2?

I'm old asf, and never knew that keeping your arm level to the table helps prevent carpul tunnel. I will have to try it. But the leap is pretty nice. I got mine for 50 dollars, everything Original and old(2207) but it's still comfortable. Amazing Chair, best I've ever had by far.

Add some thick pads onto the arms for height. Even though having high is not good for you. Your shoulders should be hanging, not scrunching.

Do you find that you bottom out on seat cushion?
@theguyiskevin

Hmm, there was something off about the seat cushion. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but it just didn't feel like good quality. It didn't bottom out, so it seemed well-made, but there was something about it that felt cheap.

Embody 100% but that’s a ridiculous price for it

Leap has better lumbar, and is better for maintaining an upright tasking position. The Embody has a way better seat, but you have to sort of sink into the chair, and it takes some getting used to. The Leap's seat cushion is quite thin, especially towards the tailbone, so it may cause some discomfort. Overall, it is highly dependent on your personal needs. I'd say if you want to maintain an upright ergonomic position for long periods of time, Leap is better. If you tend to lounge in your chair and assume different positions, the Embody is better.
