@@airheart1 it feels weird to say…but I’m kinda glad we didn’t win after playing that horribly. Tomlin has been bailed out by crazy good, well timed defense for half a decade. SOMETHING has to change, and Tomlin has made crystal clear he thinks if he closes his eyes tight enough and says enough riddles that the NFL will magically revert to 2002. It won’t. And he REFUSES to do anything to have a viable offense. Nothing. Nada. 0. We have the SAME issues we’ve had since the Killer B’s era ended: abysmal, almost miraculously bad line play, no attempt at a passing game, running backs who can’t make guys miss bc Tomlin wants a 1930s slow running back, WRs who either can’t get space and stay quiet, or can’t get space and throw tantrums like a spoiled 3 year old who dropped his ice cream cone, and a zone defense that was outdated in 2012 and hasn’t changed since then….

Pure trash. They ran the ball on 3rd and 8 for god sake and settled for a FG. They score there; that's an extra 4. We lost by 3. It's all hypothetical. But this man has dragged this team into the abyss. They can very well be 0 and 5. They can very well be 5 and 0. But with this style of play. This team doesn't show up to win games. Honestly this is on Tomlin. The defense doesn’t play aggressive anymore. We literally blitz half as much as the last 2 years. Also we have a new OC who was supposed to be an upgrade yet even thought the plays may be different it’s the same concept ( run,run, pass to the outside). The only time the offense has looked different is when it seems we need to score and are down. The Steelers moved the ball with ease in the no huddle yet we never saw it again. To me it seems the guy who says don’t live in your fears is actually living in them and refuses to allow any aggressiveness cause it may turn out negative.

Steelers have given Justin Fields the cheapest lowest paid WR room in the NFL and perhaps lowest paid WR room in NFL in the last decade. Each receiver is making around $1M but Steelers are wondering why the offense isn’t putting up points. The production matched the talent they set up Justin Fields with. Steelers would never give Ben a WR2 who had only 209 yards receiving and 1 touchdown for the entire year! That production is pathetic. Calvin Austin is a small gadget player. Calvin isn’t a WR3. Steelers Brandon Aiyuk trade was a Hoax. They knew Brandon wasn’t coming to Pittsburgh. Steelers were not paying him $30M!! Steelers should have resigned Juju Smith Schuster who blocks and catches.

We spend millions of dollars on our defense we have the highest paid defense in NFL history. Yet, we get QBs on the cheap that nobody wants. And no wide receivers. And then everyone's curious as to why we can't put up numbers on the offense. Come on now.

Stop it with the Justin Field's excuses. He aint moving the ball enough past two games and tbh I feel defense won first 3 games. Give me an old Russ over this young and inexperienced fumble prone qb any day. Not accurate consistently enough. He alright. Still just a step or two above what we had last year. Arthur isn't going to open playbook up with JF until he can show ability to be good consistently in the pass game. He is not so we run a conservative game on offense. We fan pick on coaching but you gotta scheme for your ability and there is a reason he playcalling conservative and JF is the reason.

Dallas is one of if not THE best passing offense in the league by quite a margin, they have certified ballers on every WR, it's to expected to have a rough day on an offensive oriented league. What is not expected is such a bad offensive display against one of the worst defenses in the league that is full of 2nd strings.

I feel like coach Tomlins philosophy isn’t working and hasn’t been for a while now playing it safe and conservative and relying on our defense to make a game saving stop is hurting this team. Calling that timeout on last play right after Dallas did gave them more time to catch their breath and screwed our offense from possibly doing something. Art Smith needs to understand that THEY GOT A DOG IN GEORGE PICKENS, and he's always open. GP is about to explode emotionally bc he wants the ball, and he's a sour loser, and he should be, we need a guy who's passionate and wants to ball. We need to design plays for him! He would/will be elite for another team like a Chase or Jefferson if you got the right play caller. Smith is not thay much better than Canada, just a little. He cares about running the ball and throwing to his TE's and then WRs third.

1:03:58 EXACTLY. I swear Ben needs to be on the coaching staff. Where are the screens? I only seen it once in this game and prob 2 times in the last 4 games. Cal or Scotty or Muth can get easy yards that way. Look at how the Ravens use Flowers on screens. He’s getting 10 yards easy everytime. in The play calling is repetitive and predictable running through Najee rn. Art and/or Tomlin is acting like theyre too scared to call non play action pass plays.

The biggest issue I had was the 3 turnovers leading to fuck all. Holy shit. How you gonna force three turnovers and still lose??

When is Somebody who matters going to bring up the discussion of TJ getting held at least 10 times per game with NO flags being thrown. Or the discussion of how many times Dallas's defense grabbed TJ's face mask several times during the game without ONE call??

I think the problem about not throwing the ball is that we don't really have anyone to throw it too. And I'm talking about wide receivers. I mean George Pickens was out for half of the game. And aside from him, even though he's been playing terribly lately, we really only have a rotating group of WR3s. So, when we really only have one wide receiver in the room that really isn't producing anyways and then you basically bench him.. obviously we're not throwing the ball. My question would next be why in the heck are we not getting our tight ends more involved we just gave Pat a four-year deal and a boatload of money yet we're not using him? Also, you can't tell me that washington, who cannot be tackled almost, is not going to be able to get you 7-8 yards or more....if you get the ball in his hands.

I hate to say this. But TJ was so defeated looking at the podium yesterday. That I think this might be the first time he's ever been thinking about joining another team. He's in his prime, he's the best defensive player I've ever seen in my life. And he deserves to go the whole way and get a ring. And I think he's realizing that the Steelers are much farther away from that than he's ever realized. I mean he was oozing frustration and regret while he was talking to the press. I've never seen him look that defeated. It was sad. And I would hate absolutely hate to see him and any other color than black and gold. But I would understand it. And I would totally support him if he did. I don't think he'll try and get out of his contract but it runs out in 2025 anyways. I don't think TJ will be re-signing with the steelers. Unless they make a massive turnaround. He can't be the only player on the field that is making plays and carrying this team weekly. And obviously he does. Because if you look at how we play with or without him. Every single time he's out of a game we lose with the exception of one time. I think we are 1 and 13, or 1 and 12 without TJ watt. that speaks volumes. Anyhow, I could never imagine TJ leaving pittsburgh. But yesterday was the first time I saw a crack in that facade. And he wants a ring and he is good enough to get it if he's with the right coaches and organization and people on the field. And for some reason we just don't have that in pittsburgh. We have the cheapest offensive everything. Our wide receiver room is the cheapest in history. Our quarterback room probably is as well. Because we got everybody's Leftovers on the cheap. Which is what we seem to do all the time anymore. Look at the Patrick Queen trade. The Ravens didn't want him anymore and the Ravens fans were even saying how bad he was. Yet we bought him Lock Stock and barrel.. yet he's done almost nothing. Maybe it is with minkah Fitzpatrick said maybe this defense just is too difficult for the younger people. Maybe the coaches need to dumb it down? Because we have so many injuries and so many new players in. Idk. I didn't think our defense was that complex. But if you listen to what Minka was saying that's basically what it was.

@@CarrieAnn77 I think that was Minkah’s nice way of saying “Beanie Bishop is absolutely garbage”. I don’t think TJ would leave, but he might. But it’s hard to pay for a top flight offense when TJ, Cam, Minkah, and Highsmith eat up like 70% of our cap…. If he wants to win here, maybe TJ should take a pay cut
@CarrieAnn77

True. As much as I cannot stand to Tom brady. He always took pay cuts so that they can spread the money around and give him better weapons. Obviously he knew with that would come Super Bowls and endorsements and you get the money back tenfold. And he was correct it was very smart. @@Helden_Daddy

I'm saying this at near 5 minutes in. But my thought of that game, If the Defense gifts you a handful of turnovers, and a good deal of negative yeards on the other team, you need to make something of that. 17 points total, does not reflect capitalizing on the gifts the Defense just gave you.

3 fucking points in the 1st half yet again man fuck this team we gunna get blown out by the raiders next week too or win 14-7 and ppl will be saying this team is good again NO THEY ARENT. I dont wanna hear another mfer say this team is good THEY ARE NOT. You would have to win 63-10 next week to be considered good. But lets be real we are going to lose to the raiders, lose to the jets, maybe win giants lose commanders and be well below 500 facing baltimore and then again lose i mean im thinking 6 wins this year is very possible and probable
